It's what gave me the intro to death battle and the wider VS space when I was little.

Godzilla Vs Gamera is also my #1 favorite Death Battle, but for a completely different reason. I never really cared for Kaijus/Giant Mecha fights (With a few exceptions), but I did know of Godzilla, but never heard of Gamera. Initially, I thought that DB was just good, but after multiple exposure to it through rewatches and binging Reactions to it, I formed a sort of "Feelings" towards it and by that mean, hype, chills, just happiness that make me burst into tears evertime I watch it.

I was going to say, I dont know what episode I'd consider my favorite. I like a lot of episodes, but none I'd consider my 'favorite.' Then I remembered Iron Man vs Lex Luthor. That's the first episode i remember myself popping off when Tony won. Im not really an Iron Man fan, but I do enjoy Marvel more than DC (though I still enjoy DC as well). So I was on team Marvel. And that entier episode was great from start to finish. And the ending, Tony summoning the Endo-Sym. Leading into his line from the comic. "I'm not playing god. All this time... I've been playing human." And then proceeds to dismantle Lex. I just love it. That line read was so good as well. The line itself goes hard, but hearing it be spoken like that is just raw. So yeah, I guess Tony vs Lex would be my favorite, since no other episode that I can remember made me go off like that one did.

Honestly my favorite is probably Ganondorf vs Dracula even if my GOAT died

Godzilla vs Gamera is my favorite episode as well. Godzilla and Gamera are two series that I’ve wanted to see collab together so this made me so happy. The fight maybe outdated but it’s still amazing to watch

Also, you don’t know anything about Princess Peach I don’t mind princess peach been a bad ass but I don’t like it and they turn her into a Mary Sue stop comparing other games to justify that peach is always been this character that is not true.

She is a girl boss in the movie and in the Mario games she’s very girly, very feminine, very kind, very sweet and gentle and in games like smash Bros. She uses a frying pan as a weapon her but a parasol a tennis racket and a golf course was in the movie she doesn’t use that and she is mostly serious in the film and also, you don’t know anything about Princess Peach you’re just saying that to shut people up about peach Being a girl boss and don’t forget in most games she’s a damsel in distress, any games like 3-D world it’s so different so just stop saying that the movie version of Princess peach is exactly like in the games because she’s not.

GODZILLA VS GAMERA REMATCH #savedeathbattle

I'm in a similar camp; Godzilla is practically my favorite fictional character, let alone my favorite character Death Battle's ever used, and even if the visuals of the animation and the research of the analysis have certainly aged A LOT, Godzilla vs Gamera continues to be my favorite episode of the entire show. (and I'll keep saying it, one where I always wish for it to get the reanimated treatment that Goku vs Superman and Mario vs Sonic got)

My favorite Death Battle of all time is Balrog Vs. TJ Combo. And it's really just the story it tells that sells it for me. Two people meeting on the street and having a punch-up doesn't really do it for me. But TJ Combo trying to show that he's still got it by taking on Balrog, the champ in a boxing match that goes to the death when Balrog decides to stop plating by the rules? That's genuinely good storytelling. Snake Vs. Sam Fisher and Bayonetta Vs. Dante also rock for their fabulous setups and storytelling. Also, my favorite matchup now, the one I want on Death Battle the most, is Darth Revan from Star Wars Vs. The Dark Urge from Baldur's Gate 3.

My favorite "next time" was Ganondorf vs Dracula? Why? Because like, a month or two after Smash Ultimate came out, I hit the request form with the connections being something along the lines of "both are incarnations of evil with ties to a 100 year cycle that fight against a bloodline of heroes, both have a giant monster form, and both have models in Smash Ultimate." Come summer, what do you know? "NO MAN CAN CHALLENGE MY POWER" after the credits of Sasuke vs Hiei, and I knew what was happening instantly before Dracula even spoke.

Godzilla vs Gamera was the reason I discovered Death battle. It’s one of the most nostalgic things ever for me, If it wasn’t for this episode i don’t know if It would be one of my favorite things on the internet. And I absolutely adore it.

I think my all time favorite would have to be a a three way tie. Samurai Jack vs Afro Samurai is so phenomenal with its sword fight, set piece, music and finish. Smokey the Bear vs MaGruff the Crime Dig is wonderfully ridiculous and amazing. And Blarog vs TJ Combo has the unique spin of that it starts as a boxing match then turns into a death battle after the ref is knocked out. TJ' theme, the choreography and finish are peak Death Battle imo

Honestly my two favorites are from series I barely cared about before Death Battle, which I think is a statement in of itself on the impact this show has. Balrog vs TJ Combo got me interested in learning more about boxing while being one of the hypest goddamn things I'd ever witnessed, and sparked an interest in shows like Hajime no Ippo, and the other battle being of all things, Shredder vs Silver Samurai. I only knew SS as "that one X-Man guy in Marvel vs Capcom or something" and Shredder I'd had an off an on interest in the turtles so I knew who he was but not what he could *Do*. And what the result was is one of the best speed fights the series had ever had, imo. Sure, the fighters aren't literally running at the speed of sound, but the way they dodge and weave and try to find their opening, so many close calls, and even Harada's last stand against Super Shredder with the most *gruesome* sprite death I think we've ever seen... GOD. I can't support them financially because I'm a broke ass bitch, but I hope that this series is able to continue for years to come and introduce me to a new favorite. ~~Kinnikuman representation wheeeeeen~~

My favorite Death Battle of all time has to be He-Man vs. Lion-O. My grandpa had a collection of He-Man figures I was enamored with as a kid who I used to spend summers with him. He also had the complete series of Thundercats in which we would watch it together, too. My love for both shows and characters grew, and that's when I found out that death battle was making a matchup after seeing Goku vs. Superman 1. I was so excited, when it finally came out I watched it with my Grandpa and we both loved it as a crossover between the two shows. I'll forever hold that episode close to my heart and will always be my favorite Death Battle ever

My personal opinion: i mostly like DeathBattle ia because the character analysis, yeah i know it's sometimes pretty flawed (cough* ben10 vs GL cough*cough*) but it's presented pretty well tbh

Godzilla vs Gamera was one of my first, I think Pokemon vs Digimon was before that, but both have a special place in my heart.
